RadEQ - Equalizer for Streaming online Radio App Reviews

The very fine equalizer is wasted because most of the available streams suffer from very low bitrates. Kind of like a Ferrari with a Prius engine.

If you enjoy listening to random bad radio stations this is the app for you. Plays radio stations at the same time.. Radio station should switch off when switched to a new radio station. Wish it worked with soundcloud!

I bought this as a way to pay the creator extra for the fine equalizer he designed (that I already own and love). Like all streaming radio apps, it work best on wifi, and cuts out while driving. I like being introduced to new music via radio, and the interface/equalizer work great. I can easily buy new music. Keep up the good work!

Absolute waste of money. Most stations dont work and when they do the volume level is pitiful.

Downloaded this app and have had nothing but trouble with it freezing up and crashing my phone I spent most of the day restarting my phone to get the app to work not worth the $$$

I purchased both Audioforge Labs RadEq and Equalizer apps. They are highly functional and very slick operationally. Shortly after my purchase I contacted them to request that they add two great local stations to the RadEQ app and got an affirmative response from Tibor two hours later. Thats first class customer support. Incidentally, I use both products to tailor the sound of the UE Boom Bluetooth speaker. Its a well engineered speaker but the Audioforge apps really enhance its sound.

It performs well except it will not play a custom stream!!!!!!!

The point of this app, the equalizer, is practically impossible to use on the iphone. On top of that, it cant even stream properly from a 3rd party site with pls, m3u, mp3 and php options for streaming. None worked. I dont know how this app has such high reviews. It doesnt work. It may work if you just use presets, I guess. And the equalizer may be useable on an ipad. Still inexcusable.

If this only had 3D Spatializer Sound would give another star. Where is it guys ?

The sound performance was ok -- didnt knock my socks off, but the selection of stations was very limited to the usual suspects. My efforts to type in urls of my own favorites met with no success. I was greatly disappointed.

Waste of money. Very limited number of stations provided... many of which do not respond... manually entered URLs are universally nonfunctional... no documentation that could find as to what steaming formats are supported by this app. No response to questions... no recent updates. DOA. RIP.

I like this app for the EQ adjustments, but there are much better apps out there for streaming audio. The buffer seems to be small, and I seem to only get 5 to 10 seconds of audio in advance. It also has a couple of bugs; sometimes it plays the double of the stream you select, so youll hear two of the same stream slightly syncopated. It also seems to crash on my iPhone 5s at least once or twice a day. This app works best over wifi. It does ok on ATT LTE, and very poorly on Verizon LTE. If Im driving somewhere, this app is almost useless as it constantly stops playing to buffer through 2 bars of signal.

I finally found an app that allows me to EQ my radio streams to my Bose airplay speakers! Works great and the author was most prompt in adding my favorite station to his large list of stations.

App is crap. A bunch of useless stations that more often than not fail to load.

This app removes the hassle of searching for new songs manually. And once you found one you like, you dont have to remember what title it is coz the app lists the last 100 songs together with a date and time when I listened to it. AND it links directly to that song in iTunes if I decide to buy it days or minutes later. Very much thought put into usage. And the custom eq makes is way above any other radio service. Five stars!

Was really happy to find an EQ for Internet radio, till I realized most of the stations fail to play. This app also doesnt support Pandora, or Spotify. Wish I could get my money back.

I paid for this app and it never worked how do i get repayed?

I was so disappointed after using the EQ. Which work great.I found this app crashes often and doesnt play any of the stations I like, even after entering the URL. I cannot recommend spending your money at this time. There are far better internet radio apps available.

I bought this app because one of my favorite old radio stations is back on the air after almost 25 years off the air---KZAP and because streaming audio from my iPad left me wanting when steaming to my home stereo. When I added the url it wouldnt work. 2 days later it is on the recently added list and playing great! I am super impressed with the ease and flexibility this EQ has! TOTALLY OPENED UP THE SOUND ON MY IPAD!!! And is has been rock solid on my iPad 2 on 8.4. For me MONEY WELL SPENT!! This app has made my stereo sound the way it should. Great app!

In my experience, there is no other app out there like this one. The equalizers that come with other apps can only be used with iTunes or other stored music. This app fills a much needed gap for those who dont always listen to music they own, but rather, who enjoy streaming their favorite internet radio stations. In addition, the creators of this app are very responsive and are happy to assist in answering questions or explaining functionality. Simply put, this app is absolutely worth the purchase! I couldnt be happier with it and highly recommend it.
